Going against the (film) grain.
This month we’re sharing some of the film photography we’ve captured over the past year. Shooting on actual film has been a fun step back in time for us, and has encouraged us to slow down, frame our shots carefully, and hone in on our technical skills. We hope you’ll enjoy this look across our travels in Maine, Maritime Canada, Richmond, and here at home in Charlottesville, Virginia. These photos were all shot on a 1959 Leica M3 (a camera we long coveted) and developed and scanned at our favorite local camera shop, Pro Camera. We have begun offering film photography to our clients, and we’re looking forward to sharing more of these distinctive images soon.
