We connected with Rachel of Cou Cou Rachou during her first year of business. Described as Charlottesville’s classic French bakery, serving the finest breads and pastries made with local, organic ingredients, Cou Cou Rachou’s creations are as delicious as they are beautiful, and we wanted our photography to reflect that. All photos were shot on the bakery’s outdoor patio in natural light, with mismatched plates and imperfectly sliced pastries giving the images a playful, unpretentious feel.
